Lift Chair ResourcesLearn everything you need to know about Lift Chairs |

Maybe you're upgrading to a better lift chair, or maybe you just don't need one anymore. Either way, you still have to get rid of it, and just throwing it in the trash wouldn't make any sense. There are hundreds of potential buyers out there who are willing to purchase your (gently) used lift chair.
How much should I sell it for? - The best way to determine the used price of your lift chair is to start with the price you paid for it, and depreciate that price by 15% for every year you have owned it. For example, say you bought a lift chair for $1,000.00 and after 1 year you want to sell it. $1,000.00 x 15% = $150.00. $1,000.00-$150.00=$850.00. So you should sell your lift chair for at least $850.00. Also take into consideration the condition the lift chair is in. If it's covered in coffee stains and sparks when you press the "lift" button, you'll probably have to settle for a lower price.
List your lift chair for sale in the local newspaper, or on an internet classified site such as CraigsList.org. Putting a lift chair for sale on e-bay wouldn't make much sense because the shipping would be outrageous. Make sure you include your telephone number, the price you want for the lift chair, and what model and year it is in the classified ad.
When a potential buyer arrises, make arrangements to have him or her come to your home and pick up the lift chair. Lift chairs are a lot heavier than regular chairs, and they require at least 2 people to move them so tell the buyer that he or she is going to have to bring some help.
